Customized And Modified Treatment

It is important to us to provide treatment that works for your child, and we understand that does not look the same for everyone. Each adolescent accessing services at ROWI will meet with our clinical team who will design a customized care plan to meet specific individual needs. This treatment plan is completed with the adolescent and family members and will reflect goals in your child’s own words. In order to develop the most well rounded and comprehensive plan, our team will also work diligently to connect with previous outpatient providers, teachers, or anyone identified by the family as having an important role in their child’s ongoing success. This approach focuses on special areas for each adolescent to strengthen their own ability to refrain from going backwards. Long-term emotional and spiritual wellness means that the program you choose must easily modified according to how well your child is responding to treatment.

Education Services - Partial Hospitalization Program

One of the largest barriers and stressors of adolescent treatment, for both parents and students, is falling behind in school and access to education services. At ROWI, your son or daughter is able to continue academic education and accumulate credits while in day treatment. ROWI offers a private school setting that integrates your child’s level-appropriate academic education, including AP support, with recovery skills and motivational reinforcement to help them more seamlessly transition back to school and social life after graduating from PHP.

We understand how challenging the process of navigating the academic system can be. Our goal is to help make the transition from your child’s current school placement to ROWI as seamless as possible and our credentialed teacher will be there to help you every step of the way.

Independent Study

The independent study option may be available if you wish to keep your child enrolled in their current academic placement. Although it is not a legal requirement, many school districts and local schools in our area — private, public, and charter — offer independent study options to children undergoing medically necessary day treatment. Students who participate in independent study typically take the same courses or are assigned similar work as students in regular classes. Our credentialed teachers will assist in weekly academic coordination with your child’s school and provide individualized learning opportunities and support services in the classroom.

Private School

ROWI offers a series of online classes provided by the nationally accredited Apex Learning Virtual School. Each course is also supplemented and supervised by a qualified teacher. Each day, dedicated time is spent covering the disciplines of Math, English, Science, History and a variety of other subjects. Through this academic platform, your son or daughter is able to move at their own pace through a unique customized curriculum. Our on-staff educator is available to help each individual student with course work assigned from each curriculum.
