Our Approach

ROWI uses the most effective, evidence-based methods. Our team also integrates non-traditional treatment methods like meditation, yoga, equine, art, and surf therapies to treat the whole person.

Every Adolescent Is Valued: We give care and attention to every child in need, regardless of race, religion, gender, or socioeconomic status. The wellbeing of the child comes first. Whether in outpatient therapy or partial hospitalization, the health and wellness of each adolescent is our mission.

Every Family Is Important: Regardless of background, parents who visit ROWI have one thing in common: they love their children. We appreciate every family who walks through the door and believe they are part of the solution, not the problem. ROWI understands that effective and lasting treatment must incorporate the entire family.

Our Team

Dr. Candice Till-Feinberg

CEO and Director of Outpatient Programs

Dr. Till-Feinberg, a licensed clinical psychologist, is an industry leader in developing innovative, evidence-based therapeutic programs for clients suffering from mental health and addiction issues. She combines a rare set of talents as an administrator, consultant, teacher and psychologist.

Dr. Till-Feinberg, a highly respected authority in the field of mental health and addiction issues, has appeared on national television, written articles published in Psychology Today, and spoken at conferences across the country. She is a member of Young Presidents’ Organization. Dr. Till-Feinberg was most recently Executive Director at Avalon Malibu, a premier treatment company with multiple residential and IOP facilities in Malibu California. Prior to that, she was Clinical Director of Newport Academy, an adolescent residential treatment facility that also offers intensive outpatient and day school programs, and Program Director for The Center for Discovery. She first began to work with adolescents in 2007 as a therapist for the County of Orange, Juvenile Drug Court. Prior to that she spent three years in college counseling centers conducting therapy and testing for learning disabilities.

Dr. Saro Altinoglu

Program Director – ROWI Thousand Oaks

Saro Altinoglu, Psy.D., completed his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of La Verne. His clinical experiences include working with children, adolescents, adults and the geriatric population. For the past 12 years, Saro has practiced at various medical hospitals and psychiatric facilities such as, Aurora Charter Oak hospital, Loma Linda Behavioral Medicine Center, and Harbor UCLA Medical Center. He was the Clinical Director at Aegis Treatment Centers, where he supervised the treatment of 110 patients within opioid use rehabilitation. Saro is passionate about working with teens and is expecting a child of his own.

Dr. Courtney McCaul

Program Director – ROWI Calabasas

Dr. Courtney McCaul earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Loyola Marymount University with cum laude distinction. She furthered her education and earned her Master’s and Doctoral degree in Clinical Forensic Psychology from Alliant International University. Dr. McCaul has experience providing individual, group, and family therapy to adolescents and adults suffering with psychotic disorders, mood disorders, trauma, depression, substance abuse, personality disorders, and dual diagnoses.  Dr. McCaul is UCLA PEERS Program Certified for working with adolescents on the autism spectrum.  She has a published scientific study in The Clinical Neuropsychologist, ‘Cross-validation of the Dot Counting Test in a Large Sample of Credible and Noncredible Patients Referred for Neuropsychological Testing’. In addition, Dr. McCaul has participated in the F.B.I.’s Crisis Negotiation for the Mentally Ill program.

Monica has been a California-based dietitian for the past 14 years. She has earned both Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Nutrition and Food Science from California State University, Northridge.

Adam’s history includes ten years as a coach, mentor, and executive in the behavioral health field as well as twenty-five years’ experience in both a marketing and entrepreneurial capacity.  He is Certified in Empowerment and Applied Positive Psychology Coaching and loves working on both a strategic and creative level.

Johnny Kim, ACSW

Therapist

Johnny Kim, ASW, graduated from Masters of Social Work at USC and attended UCSD for his undergraduate degree in Psychology. My approach to mental health includes solution focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, identity based therapy, and self-leadership coaching
